I need to get past Windows NT Login

I need to get into a former employees computer running Windows NT, but I have no idea what the password is. Is there a way around this?

No I don't have the admin password.

I googled and found a couple of methods, but I was hoping someone here had done this before and had some recommendations.

Did your employee change the admin password? I'm just trying to figure out why you wouldn't have that, being the boss and all 😀

If you want the whole story, here it is. Our company does supervisory systems (ifix, iconics, etc.), and we save everything on a dedicated hard drive and pack them away until we need them. The engineer who did them quit. I am not the boss, but I'm left holding the bag.

Take the hard drive. Put it in another machine. Access your data at will. Be happy. 🙂

You could hack the password, but why bother? It's the data that you want. Just boot from another hard drive, and then copy this hard drive's data that you want onto the other boot drive.
