i've been sitting in front of it pretty much all day since i woke up, and need to get away from it, but i can't think of any ideas. got any?
 
batting cages are where you go and a pitching machine throws baseballs/softballs at you and you hit them.

Take your SO out for brunch.

 
Give your computer a first name, then talk to it on a regular basis. Ask if for advise and treat it as one of your friends. Then you wont feel so bad when you spend all your free time in front of it.

It worked for me.

The only draw back is when your comp builds up a personality and starts demanding to be taken out to meet new friends (then you have to start organising LAN parties and hope the other comps will play nice).

I'm think of getting a bigger brother for mine to play with. This one is soo demanding , wanting new parts, and new games.
