...and there's the beach, and c'mon...Disney? It's the happiest place on earth. What's the problem.

Yea, the stuff I listed didn't really bother me (well the rundown/redneck areas of the north would, but I lived in central). It's not a place I'd purposely move to (my parents moved there when I was 10), but I don't think it's really horrendous. I was just trying to state why some people might not like it.

How is it boring? I'm not 18-21. I don't need bars, clubs, or nightlife. I just need my family and quiet beachfront house/cottage/condo. Fishing is never boring.

Florida sounds like a great place to visit to get a break from Winter, but I can't imagine living there.
