What do you guys suggest for a security system?

I need a system that I can put on my upstair window to look down & out onto the street where my mailbox is located. I think someone is stealing my mail.

It has to be able to record a whole day's worth of videos. preferably on cd, dvd or computer hard drive for storage.

What do you guys recommend?
