i have this caputre card i just layed out $700 worth and it doesnt work with my supermicro mobo with one of those serverworrks 3 chipsets. I know its a motherboard because i tried 3 different operating systems also tried this for video cards radeon 64mb vivo, geforce ultra, and matrox 450. i mean i tried lots of thing finaly i just decided to try on one of my other systems it worked just fine so i took everyhing from my supermicro system except teh 2nd cpu and put into my other system still worked put it back into the dual doesnt work. technical support for the capture card said that motherboard can easily be a problem and told me to get intel chipset mobo the only problem is i have 2 p3-933 fcpga. so i need an intel socket 370 mobo:)

Greetings!

So...you want a Mobo with dual P3 FC-PGA support...or the same mobo but with a Intel chipset on it?

If you want a Intel chipset, good luck!! and let me know as soon as you find one :)

The only Intel chipset that supports socket 370 is the i815 chipset witch doesn't allow SMP.

Your only chance is going with the 694 chipset from VIA. MSI, Assus, Abit and (I think!) IWill have mobos built with this chipset.

I own the MSI 694D Pro and it works great. Comes with ATA-100 & RAID and I've heard of a model with built in SCSI controller.

As for Intel, the onlu dual processor mobo they have right now (I think), apart from the serverworks things, it's the OR840...witch means RDRAM...and Slot 1!! :)

Sorry if this didn't help!

Ok...sorry about that!

Just found out that THERE is such a thing as a dual processor mobo with the i815!

check this out at VIA Hardware:
http://viahardware.com/acorpi815dual.shtm

The biggest drawback is that you can only use 512 MB of RAM..

Sorry about the misinformation!!
