I need to gather all the information on DC that I can

I have started work on a little project and wanted to know where I can find information about distributed computing. I am open to any and all sources so don't hold back. If you know of a book on the topic (recent or not so recent), magazine article, web site, organization, author, anything please post. I felt that this would be THE place to go to ask for direction on the subject as everyone here has tremendous experience with DC, and any & all computer related. You people are the best around on the subject so I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks!

Not sure that I can be much help, as I participate in some DC projects, but never really bothered to do some in-depth research about them. However, may I suggest that you check out the web pages for the various projects. They will most likely have pages that explain more about their project, how it works, etc.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I have been doing some research on the web and have come up with a few good places with information. One of them being the aspenleaf page that was mentioned by Baldy18. I posted my request because I have wanted to expand my research beyond the net and have had trouble finding good books that explain things in layman's terms. If anyone knows of some good sites please share them because I am sure that I have missed some during my searching. Thanks, look forward to hearing from someone soon.

I have yet to run accross any books regarding DC and have seen maybe 1 or 2 magazine articles about Seti. I don't think there is much out there yet beyond the net.
