I need to extend my range...

I have a Dlink DIR-615 N router that I keep in my son's room because he is a gamer. The TV room is on the other side of the house and I currently get very weak signal there. I really want to setup a Google TV or Roku but I need to boost my signal.

What kind of solution is best? There are no PC's between the router and the TV (everyone besides my son's is wireless). Range extender? Directional antenna?

Links are greatly appreciated

The best way is to lay a CAT6 cable to central locations in the house that is close to the destination Wireless client and install an Access Point, or Cable/DSL Router configured as an Access Points. Then connect it to the Main Router.

I been doing some research also, a few of my clients can't run wires so i found this guy

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004NBL9WK?tag=wrpt-20
SR300, SR10000
Amped Wireless High Power Wireless-N 600mW

They have several models and have 100/600mW output. With increase output wattage, you're also sending noise. I haven't tried it but there's like a lot of 5 stars off amazon's review. Dont know how real they are. Im still looking for reviews and real world test also. But like Jack said, cable is the best

I wonder if that device would work for piggybacking weak connections, or if it actually has to be closer to the router than the laptop trying to get the connection...
