i need to do some research on the camcorders that are currently on the market. my first idea for my brother's christmas gift will no longer work and this is something that he has asked for since his girlfriend is preggers. are there any good websites out there?

i plan on spending ~$500 i think so if anyone has any recommendations on where i should start that would be helpful also. thanks.
