Take a look on Dell Outlet at the Dell Inspiron 15R, see if any good models are available. My flatmate just picked one up with a quad-core i7 (instead of the dual core in that machine), a Radeon HD7730M, a 1080p screen and a caching SSD to go with the hard drive. The refurbed ones are seriously great value.

^agreed, Dell has some amazing refurbished deals. In my opinion it's also one of the best ways to pick up monitors.
