*Paging RossMAN... Paging RossMAN*

Check out the Hot Deals forum... there's tons of laptop deals, including some for under $500.

Staples has been having some great deals lately.

What's your budget?

Do you want a desktop replacement (BIG & HEAVY) or middle of the road laptop?

I've got to pop in here and recommend IBM's ThinkPads. I absolutely love my ThinkPad (a little over 2 years old). It's been highly reliable and fast too. Plus I like the TrackPoint better than a TouchPad and IBM's keyboard is by far my favorite laptop keyboard. IBM seems to have the sturdies chassis too.

This is for my biz therefor i really don't have a budget but at the same time don't want to spend anything over 1k.. Ideally i want it to be in the $700 range. I've been moving around a lot lately and using 5 computers to do one job is just getting to complicated. This would eliminate all that..

If your budget was around $1,500 there are some great laptops I could recommend.

Good luck.

only check email and go online? you really don't need a top of the line laptop. you could go used.

i just bought a Thinkpad X20 PIII 600MHz subnotebook for $650 (ebay) and I love it. It's not super powerful, but it's very light and thin.

always check out the Hot Deals forums before buying....

i recently owned a Dell Inspiron 4150 and it was great blend of power and portability. Dell always seems to have great promotions going on as well.

if you are only going to use it for email and internet, buy a USED one for a fraction of the price of that new shiny crap

1) You can get a Dell Inspiron 4150 for $1,029 after rebate, I'll PM you the link.

2) Another great choice is either the IBM ThinkPad A or T series, I'll also PM that link to you as well.
