This is a gag gift for someone tuning the big 40 but sensitive about age. I think it will be well received but I can't seem to find a place that sells canes (not the gag ones). I am out of ideas, so any ideas to share?
 
I know this may sound bad...

But look in mall stores that specialize in quality clothing for black people.

Also look at stores that specialize in formal outfits and such... a low-level place like Men's Warehouse and such won't have a clue, but some other places may at least tell you where to go.

Worse comes to worst, you can go buy a dowel from Lowes/Home Depot and carve it yourself.

How about a nice hand-carved hiking stick? Even after the joke he might still like having it. I've bought some HERE, but they have them at hiking stores all over.
