i am worrying about my GPU temps on said card although i dont have issues with the card - but the temps just seem pretty high. Btw. my card is overclocked 7% so its basically a EN8800GTS/TOP.

Problem #1:

There are several ways to read temps, and we need a reference since temps can vary +/- 10 degrees depending how temps are read.

In Rivatuner, if i use the ADT7473-plugin (the sensor on the G92) i get idle
58.00.
Same temp is shown using latest GPU-Z 1.7

If i use "default" in Rivatuner i need to add +8, showing my card idling at 66C.

I need to know whether those idle temps are halfway "ok".

Yes...i use fan-control (flashed bios)...so under heavy load fan goes up to 80% and on idle right now its on 36%.

I also already did an Arctic Silver Job on the card/core which might have dropped temp 1 or 2 degrees.

If you post your temps please specify what mehtod/sensor you use...if you use GPUZ http://www.techpowerup.com/dow...erUp_GPU-Z_v0.1.7.html
would be good for having reference.
I am especially interested in people having Asus EN8800 GTS, but any GTS G92 would do :)

video cards imo are built for handling high temps, they can withstand pretty much in the 80C mark, 60 shouldn't hurt either. When using rivatuner, boost up your fan speed to 85% when overclocking the card, otherwise leave it at 61%, my temps are usually 45-60 at stock settings.
