I need that video of the hyenas getting owned by lions...

I like the one filmed in yellowstone, where the wolf totally takes out the coyote trying to take his elk kill.

I was hoping the lioness-es were going to drop down and take them out. Oh well, it still worked out pretty good for the lions. Awesome vid.

You all should watch National Geographics Predators at War. It was on ondemand on the National Geographic channel and showed how desperate predators get when there is a drought. It was pretty awesome. It had Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs, Wild Dogs and Vultures all fighting each other. The camera man was pretty brave, he got within feet of feeding Hyenas. Also a pack of Lioness was approaching him at night and he was able to scare them away with some sound he made.

This was the first time I saw a starving Cheetah fend off a Hyena. As most know, the Cheetah is at the bottom of the pecking order and is not built for fighting.

Lots of footage of the hyenas chasing the lion as well, up a tree even. Hardly what I would call "owned"

A hyenas jaw is stronger than a lions jaw, good reason for lions to retreat when they are outnumbered.

Well, in those instances it seems there are a lot more hyenas around than lionesses, so that could be why they ran off.
