My Epox 8K7A just died and i need a new ATX motherboardboard. Here are my specs:

Win98SE
Enlight 7237 340w Case
AMD 1.333Ghz 266 FSB
Epox 8K7A w/ onboard sound card & latest BIOS
Crucial 256 DDR 2100
Thermalright SK-6 HSF w/ Radio Shack thermal compound
MSI Starforce Geforce2 Pro 64 DDR w/ Latest Detonator & Direct X 8.0a
IBM Desktar 60GXP 60GB 7200RPM
3COM 3C905B-TXPXE 10/100 Fast Ethernet
HP 4x2x24 CDRW series 8110
ViewSonic UltraBrite A90f+

Any suggestions?

So basically you need something with an available AGP slot and at least one PCI slot, that takes 266MHz-bus Athlons and DDR memory. Market's stuffed with boards meeting those criteria, you could pick from boards that use the following chipsets:

SiS735
SiS745
KT266A
KT333
KT400
KM266
KM400
nForce, any variant
nForce2, any variant
Intel i845D (ok, not really ;))

go with an nForce2 board... so that you can easily upgrade your processor in the future :) and it's dual channel ddr...

Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking about getting a Nforce2 board but i heard that they have problems with win98. That true?

it's probly just a pita to install the drivers, just like for nForce1. w2k and xp are pretty tweakable though, if you're concerned about performance.
