Hey guys, I have a Vista issue (don't we all). I have an AMD 3200+ w/1.5 gig RAM and Vista Premium Home edition. I can't seem to delete certain items off my desktop. I downloaded a Quicktime trailer (Transformers) a while back to my desktop. When I click on the icon and try to delete it, it will bring up the screen where it's calculating how long it will take. Then it just sits at that screen forever.

I also downloaded a font pack a week ago. I unzipped it to my desktop. There were 3 .ttf files that were unpacked that I can't delete or move. It keeps saying cannot delete because the file is in use by another program. I've tried to delete it in Safe Mode, but the same thing happens. According to my running programs these font files are being used by Windows Explorer. I can't close Windows Explorer because it will always just refresh the desktop. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Also, I've tried uninstalling Quicktime and it won't uninstall it (I've been having that COM Surrogate error lately also from my video drivers).
