My fiance is trying to get a job and she doesn't have any professional experience. She's worked as a lifeguard at a few places and has worked as a server in a restaurant. She did very well in school and has a great personality so I'm sure she'll do well in the working world. My question....what are some good tips on writing a resume to get a job when you don't have any work experience in the related field. This is a serious job she's applying for. Any tips or website examples would be appreciated. We have to write her resume, fill out the application, and get it turned in by today. Thanks-

What kind of job is she looking for?

It's been my experience that depending what type of industry someone is going in, the resume style has to flow with it.

Without knowning what field she is looking for work in, impossible to tell how the resume should look like

She's going to apply for a professional assistant director of finances position. She just got her degree on Sunday. 😛 Of course, the position isn't all that difficult.
