Alright, my buddy mentioned that you can create your entire party(or I hope 4 members) in Baldur's Gate II. I've looked online, and the explanation really isn't clear. Is it possible to do this? Ideally I'd want 4 of my own created characters and 2 of the story characters in my party.

I want to do this because the mages in the game kind of suck, and most other characters(Besides my favorite, Krogan) are in between roles of a party. So is it actually possible to do this, if so, how?

You have to start a multiplayer game to do it, but you don't need anyone else to join.

That's what the FAQ said, so I do that(under TCP/IP?) and can create 4 party members, then copy it to my singleplayer folder?

Would that mean I don't have the starting characters?

Edit: I'd only really miss Jaheria

I never bothered copying the file around, although you probably could try opening it under single player mode. You can just reload the game through multiplayer as you would single player, and the only disadvantage is that if you reload a lot it means hitting the ready-to-play check marks everytime.
