I haven't listened to any new music or artists since around 2000. I need some new music to listen to...

I mostly listen to rock, metal, reggae, and some techno.

I don't like emo bands or punk.

Thanks in advance. Reps to good posts.

A friend of mine just recommended Santogold, and I enjoy her music to some degree. Worth a listen for your tastes.

You could try Pandora, it recommends new music for you.

Anyway, do you listen to alternative rock/post-punk?

Say...
The Killers
The Bravery
The White Stripes
The Strokes
Joy Division

etc.

WTF Reps?

Clutch

My Morning Jacket

I'm pretty tired right now, but I'm sure I'll think of more later.

KT

Out of ALL the Clutch songs you link that one?

Meh, just picked the first one that came up.

KT

Edit: Better?

It's their best song as of late I will grant you. As a long time fan since '91, its hard to swallow some of their new stuff.

Regardless, one of my ALL TIME favorites no question.

I just recently started listening to their new stuff, so I'm not as familiar with it. I used to listen to them, but Jam room was the last album I had. I've now gone out and picked up the newer ones and I like them for the most part.
