OK, to make long story short:

I have http://www.polaroid.com/global/detail.j...020&bmUID=1167357284368&bmLocale=en_US this monitor/TV, and I also have http://www.sicuro.us/RW_350XL.html these speakers, and I have a PS2. Got it?

OK, now I want to hook up my PS2 to the monitor (piece of cake) but instead of using the monitor speakers, I want to use the Sicuro's. Now, in order to do that, I'd have to take out the red/white plugs from the PS2-TV hookup, leave the yellow in, and put the red/white into the Sicuro's. Only problem is, I can't do that (no slot). Sicuro gave me a Y cable and there is no place to put anything else.

SO, what adapter do I need to get this thing going?

PLEASE someone help me, and I hope I explained it well enough.

TIA

I did something like this with mine Logitech X530 pc speakers...hooked it up to my plasma TV and PS2. I'm not sure if your speakers have the headphone jack (not sure of the name, 1/8? stereo mini?) inputs, but mine did and I used an adapter I made from three radioshack pieces. It was made of two Y pieces and a female-female 1/8? stereo mini (headphone) jack. One Y jack had two female RCA inputs for the PS2 on one end, the other had two 1/8? stereo mini female jacks for the speakers. both had male 1/8? stereo mini. Just connect the two with the dual female headphone tube and I was goldent...it's not exactly the best connection in the world, though. Sometimes one of the channels will cut out and I have to play with the jack for the sound to come back. What kind of hookups do the speakers you have have?

If what you are describing is what I think it is, that adapter in the link should be exactly what you need.

Yes my speakers have the headphone jack, one is in the sub if you look at the pic. The Y cable that they (Sicuro) provided has the red/white on one end and the green jack on the other to plug into the sub/speakers.

I am trying to understand what you typed, but thanks so far! I will check that out

EDIT: That does look like what I need, but I need a generic brand (looks like those will only work with Logitech), but also I have 2.1 speakers...

I only have 2.1 speakers, not 5.1

The adapter Sicuro provided is just a Y cable, the red/white on top and a green 'headphone' jack on the end

I just need to find an adapter

I appreciate the help
