If I follow you, this is a 12 foot long S-video cable, with male connections, or pins on both ends. I'd say yes, it should work fine, but I don't know what you mean by MINDIN4/MINDIN4. Where are you getting this info?
 
That's the type of connector S-Video cable use.

5-Pin DIN = OLD-STYLE AT keyboard
6-Pin Mini-DIN = ATX style "PS2" Keyboard
15 pin male D-Shell = VGA connector
etc

BTW, it will ONLY work if both your TV & DVD player have S-Video jacks (Common on even older high-end TVs). Otherwise, use the regular AV connectors or RF if you have to. It may be possible to buy a S-Video wire that connects to regular AV, but that would be useless because almost any DVD player has both.
