I need some help

Well I said this in Pers' thread, but not very many pepole responded, so I decided to make a new thread about it.



<< Dammit I have the same problem that Pers has (where you are "staring" at someone that you like but have never talked to them or gotten to know them), except worse. There's someone who I like and I basically have done what Pers did. But my main problem is that I don't talk to ANYONE, except for my friends. It sucks, because now I basically only have one friend and I'm sorta hopeless about meeting any other friends. It's the same thing with the girl I like...it is really difficult for me to talk to anyone, especially a girl who I like. Maybe I should start a thread about it instead of replying to someone else's. Well if any of you have any suggestions, please let me know (either reply to this thread, PM me, email me (see my user info)).

edit: Btw I'm (almost) 16 and in 10th grade. >>

Hey, if you want to talk or something, drop me a PM.
The best advice I have for you is to get involved. Join clubs, teams, etc.
You won't get friends sitting there fretting about it

My friend used to say "no guts, no glory" and walk up to whatever girl and start talking.

They are not going to bite your head off you know and don't forget, they are probablly just as nervous as you are.

Just be yourself man.

I used to have total problems approaching people.. Just get the balls to talk to people and not care what they think of you, it'll become second nature. Anytime you see a cute girl in your class or whatever and you make eye contact, go up to her later, introduce yourself, make a bit of small talk, hit her up for her number, then BOLT. Call her up later if you really want, or if you're like me you'll get distracted by another girl and have yet another number in your black book. Soon you'll have enough self confidence to approach anyone. Seriously, I approach EVERY girl that I find interesting and I rarely get turned down.
