I need some help . . .

I know this has been done before but some of the other threads don't address my specific RAM choices or link are no longer functional.

Now that CPU and RAM prices have dropped, I want to replace my 6 year old (yes, 6 yrs) first gen P4 computer.

These are the components I have in mind.

CPU - E4300 or E4400 from Mwave.
MoBo - GigaByte 965P-DS3 (REV3.3) from ClubIt - - - Most likely now going to go the DFI Infinity P965-S route - still looking for a source for this board.

HDD - WD 2500YS (I will buy 2, maybe do RAID0, maybe not)

I have everything else. I do plan to OC this and like everyone else hope to get 2.8 to 3.2 GHz. Intended use is processing my vacation videos, backing up some of my DVDs and ripping CDs and the like. I will not do any gaming (Have PS2 for that).

Any input is appreciated.

Yeah, I know for my purposes I don't need to go nuts on the RAM but it's hard not to with these prices. Thanks for the input.
