Lifer
a friend of mine asked me this. I have no clue...

The following clues describe a phrase that consists entirely of pair of repeated word.

1) a book about labor
2) a nerdy
3) result of a food fight
4) ordinary flatland
5) a 2D U2
6) lawful exercise
7) a remiss vagabond
8) a so-so séance host
9) exercise done to cure a drive
10) docking in Alaska
11) The accepted flag
12) Four twenty shoemakers baked in a pie?

edit: oops, it is nerdy.

so there will be 12 answers or do clues 1-12 describe 1 thing?

oh, and #8 "a so-so séance host" is 'medium medium'

*edit* added:
"4) ordinary flatland" is 'plain plain'

this might be a stretech: "7) a remiss vagabond" is 'derelict derelict'
