I'm haveing a problem with my computer just restarting while I am playing a game. Does anyone know what is causeing this, or how I may fix this problem. Thanks!

more details please!... (what game(s), computer specs, etc) A more detailed title on your post will help get good help too.

My first thought though is your power supply... if you're playing heavily 3d games and that's when it restarts, it could be an insufficient PSU.

does the game get really choppy and slow or do you see a bunch of crazy colors just before it shuts off? Mine used to get real choppy, then i check my cpu temps and they were around 60C!

I was playing Woldenstein: Enemy Territory online. I'll be playing and then all of a sudden my computer restarts. I have an 1500+, I think the powersupply is 350 or 400 watts.

I think it's time for some upgradeing anyways.

Sometimes its slow, but most of the time it just restart with out warning

1.) Wattage of a powersupply means nothing next to brand name. What brand is it?

2.) Might want to check your temps, sounds a bit like overheating.
