I need some help with small boats

Basically, I want to sell ice cream on the lake near me this summer. I need to find the cheapest way to get a boat, and a way to cool ice cream. I'm not sure if a cooler full of ice can get the job done but it probably can, if not I need to power a freezer.

I also need to find the cheapest boat possible, preferably with a motor but if the price is over $1000 I can't do that.

I know it sounds stupid but the market is there, at least a hundred people are on this lake at any time, more on the weekends.

Any ideas on getting this started, especially finding a boat, are appreciated.

Why not start out small and see how things go?

Get a small boat, a large icebox and some icecreams.

Other things to consider- Are there other vendors selling ice cream? Costs etc. (quite a long list if you think about it properly).

There are a couple people in my area who drive around, selling icecream in specially built freezers on the back of pickups. They even have the flashing stop sign and the music going. They use dry ice to keep things cold.

If you have a budget of $1000... good luck.
Not to discourage you, but some lake association people are going to look upon what you're doing as running a business. For starters, do you have liability insurance? Good luck though! Personally, I don't think you'll get it going for a grand; I could be wrong though.
