The search thing has baffled me for too long and I have to ask for further directions.

About a month ago I complained that my burner software would not recognize my burner's existance and after lots of prodding and help from readers I stumbled on to what was wrong.

Well, it happened agai! And I have forgotten the remeady and can't find the thread in which i reported my dismal progress and what actually in the end worked.

How can I find this thread?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Search for it?

If you use some keywords of which you're certain that you've used them in your post/title and search only in your own posts, you should get some results pretty quickly.

Did you try specifying "over 45 days old" in the seach options?

Which forum did you post in?

Can you try and guess what words might have been in the thread title?

OK, I'm getting closer.

I can see my posts from July 1, 01 back to about June 1.

OR, I can see my posts starting about April 30th, 01 and back further ...

BUT I can't seem to see what happened in May of 01.

Use the 'Date Range' field, and specify the dates you want to search.

EDIT: Weird. doesn't seem to work...maybe its a bug? Try posting this in forum issues:)

I searched for all posts by hychka current day and over 45 days in ALL forums without any keywords in the title I also specified a range of 4/27/2001 and 5/2/2001 and found zip, zilch, nada. Good luck finding this thread, and this time please print AND save it as a file on your hard drive.
