I need some DSL modem recommendations

What's good?

These are the modems that my phone company has deemed "supported."

3Com HomeConnect PCI Card (3ec3617-bso (Akita), 3cp3617b-bso (Seadra), Driver 2.0)

Alcatel A1000 (3ec18202ad)

Alcatel SpeedTouch Home (3ec18204bc, 3ec18804bc)

Alcatel SpeedTouch USB (3ec18607cd, Driver 1.2.3, Driver 1.3.1)

Efficient Networks 3060 (110-3060-701, 110-3060-001, 110-3060-002)

Efficient Networks 4060 (140-4060-501, 161-1008-001, 110-4060-002, 110-4060-001, 140-4060-701)

I have to buy the thing, so I'd appreciate some input. Thanks

i have a westell wirespeed, works great.

Out of those, I like the Efficient.

i have only used Cisco and there the best just cost alot. And one small, stupid detail There is no such thing a s a dsl modem, there are oly dsl routers.

There are DSL modems. Most are actually DSL modems/Ethernet bridges. Only some have routing capabilities.
