i need some comic book advice!!!

well... not really advice... more like info. i have been out of the comic book scene up until the past six months or so. i am not a hardcore enthusiast, but i like the x-men. i've heard from several ppl that magneto ripped the adamantium out of wolverine's body... thus the origin mini-series. what i would like to know is... what issues (#'s) of the x-men (or whatever) comics did that happen? do they have that storyline in a graphic novel?
