Hey all Im really lazy, and want a remote to play music while I am stoned laying in my bed, and the course of action seems to be to upgrade my soundcard and get one with a remote, do you have any recommendations for a budget solution? Currently Im using Onboard AC97, im not an audiophile, but just lazy.. and need a remote. Can you get a remote without a new soundcard? O_O? If not a recommendation will be helpful

wireless mice would cause me to have to look.. or have my monitor on... none of the OEM sound cards come with remotes.. some of the package ones do.. but they seem a tad out of my price range, im checking this lil usb powered external soundcard with remote.. but alas.. maybe I shouldn't be cheap and just wait.

All the Creative "Pro" series have remotes.

From SoundBlaster, Audigy 1, Audigy 2; All the Pro series have remotes.
They don't perform much function apart from "Play", "Pause", "Stop", "FF", "Rev", "Volume", etc. Can't even move the mouse cursor so...

I use my wireless keyboard. It has volume control, play/pause, stop, forward, back, and mute. It all works with winamp for me. (keyboard from a logitech mx700 duo)
