What does that option mean/do:
"PCI Latency Timer (CLK)" I can set it from 0 to 255 ...
Do I use this to overclock !? I think it is 32 or 33 default I forgot .. should I set it higher or lower ?
Manual says: " the latency timer defines the minimum amount of time, in PCI clock cycles, the the bus master can retain the ownership of the bus"
that whole sentence went right over my head !!
I am running a 1GHz Athlon, 7.5X155, (I can't change the multiplier yet till I close the L1 bridges ...)
Thanks

Well I can give you a partial answer. What it is referring to when it talks about the bus master retaining ownership is that with many PCI cards they are what is referred to as bus mastering in that they can take control of the entire PCI bus when they need to utilize the entire bandwidth of the bus. So that value determines what the minimum amout of time a device can hold the bus for is. As for what the advantage would be to having that set higher would be, I have no idea.

Ok .. so then what is overclocking my PCI/AGP and IDE clock speed !? is it only changing the FSB !?
From my understanding PCI is 1/4 FSB and PCI is 1/2 FSB !? what is IDE ? for the hard drives and CD ROMs !?
So my AGP is 77.5 and PCI is 38.75 !?
Did I get it right !?
