I want to buy a new CPU and overclock it.

I'm thinking about a 650 or 700 p3.

I live in Portugal, Europe so i think i can not get a cBo CPU here. It's very hard to find one.

So i want to know if i can push a 700 CPU to 933 using a FSB@133 with a golden orb or a alpha pep66, 1 or 2 case fans and maybe a increase in voltage. And i also don't have any thermal paste or something like that, i need it with a pep66 or a golden orb? I don't want to spend money buying a artic silver because i only need a small amount of it and the rest will be just wasted.

By the way, i will overclock it in a asus cusl2.

What are your overclocking experiences with a 700?
I want a 700@933 without spending too much so what's suggestion?

The arctic silver will give you about 3-5c cooler temps than with normal thermal pastes. What I did was got together with some family and friends who may want to buy my same system after my overclocking experiment. That way it won't be such a waste. I'm an AMD fan so I can't tell you what you might be able to do on an Intel, but Alpha is the way to go.

I would go for the Alpha, personally.
But that's just me.

You can also find some good quality silicone (white) thermal paste around for cheap, and Alpha's actually come with some silicone paste as well.

As for the CPU, *try* to get a CB0 if possible....
