Hi there,

I just saw on anands front page a link that AMD just came out with new drivers for their chipsets.

I have an Asus A7m-266 (760??) and a athlon 1.4 tbird and windows 2K sp2

I bought my computer in June 2001 and have not downloaded any new via's or drivers since then.

So what should I download from that driver page?

I am confused....I still have via 4 in 1 version 4.32

can someone suggest what all I need to download pls....

cheers

On the VIA, try the 4.37 drivers.(or most recent) As for the article, it's about AMD "chipsets" not processors.

Ok well my Asus A7m-266 is a 760 chipset? can someone quickly clear this up for me and what would you recommend I download?

concerning the via 4 in 1 drivers I have the policy if it ain't broke don't fix it. So I didn't bother downloading the newest ones.

For people with a similar system like my one what 4 in 1's work the best? just wondering

My advice is if it aint broke dont fix it. I am running the same chipset drivers that I put on when I built the machine, as long as everything works to my happiness I do not change these kind of things.
Bleep

If you feel the need to update your motherboard drivers, you would use the AMD AGP drivers and the VIA 4-in-1's (except for the AGP portion).
