I could be browsing the web or working in MS Word, playing an mp3 etc... and suddenly i get this weird message ACPI Bios may not be fully compliant. So i updated my bios following the asus instructions and i still get the same errors. I formatted several times. i use win2k professional edition. I thought maybe it was my hd so i tried another and i got the same message. Now i have no OS installed and i can't even install an OS because i keep getting that error message before i can finish installing Win2k. I am frustrated and i have finals soon. My PC was fine for months and suddenly i got that weird error message. Any suggestions?? Constructive feedback is sincerely appreciated.

Here is my pc:

Asus A7M266 Socket A mobo
Amd 1400tbird cpu
crucial 512mb DDR ram
Gainward 64MB videocard
Soundblaster live + mp3 card
tdk cdrw 161040
WIN2K is my OS
:(
