I need router suggestions

Can someone tell me the best dsl router to get. I had a us robotics (smc) and it went bad. I then got a smc 7004abr but it does not work with msn messenger. I can not send files. I called tech support. I waited for an hour and the guy told me it might not work with that program. I opened up the correct ports at his advice and even put it in the dmz and still does not work. What is a good alternative?

Get a Netgear. I have the MR314 and I like it a lot. (4 port switch intigrated and 802.11b wireless access point too!)

Just go with the standard Netgear, Linksys or D-Link. Tried all 3 of them, no major problems .
