I need recommendations for a mobo... I have a Phenom 9600 and DDR2.

Hi.

I have a friend who's Athlon XP is running really slow. I have a Phenom 9600 and some DDR2, and an extra Vista-32 Business license sitting on a shelf that I can use.

I just need some suggestions for a cheap but reliable mobo.
I was thinking of one that had an IGP, but I do have a 3DFuzion FX5500 256MB PCI GRAPHICS CARD that should do in a pinch, so IGP isn't necessary (I hope).

As you may guess, anyone who is still using an Athlon XP processor keeps their computer for a long time, so a mobo that is cheap, stable and durable is desirable.

Thanks in advance.

I'd say look for a 780G chipset motherboard that can support at least 95W chips (that's what the 9600 is, right?) and preferably 125W chips. I think there are some nice Asus/Gigabyte/Foxconn boards in the $70-90 range. A PCI FX5500 is pretty weak, so the IGP of the 780G might even be better.
