I need opinion on which type of monitor I should buy.

My monitor right now is about to turn 6 yrs old now.....My friends and I refer to it as the fish bowl because of its nice curved screen. And since they are all used to there flat screen monitors, they can't see a thing on mines. So...which monitor should I buy?...I'm looking to spend at the most $200. Nothing super fancy....just want my games to look good and colors to look yummy (eye candy). Thanks.
 
Right now you can get a 15" Dell LCD for under $300, or you could get a 17" Samsung flatscreen CRT for well under $200. For somewhere between $200 & $300 you could get a good 19" flatscreen CRT, that'd be my advice for you.

I just ordered myself a 17" LCD from Dell yesterday. $599 shipped.
