i need oblivion help fast!!!!

so yea im on the last thieves guild quest. The ultimate heist) and being the dumb ass that i am i forgot to get what i came to the palace for (the elder scroll). i was too busy running away from everyone since i accidentally talked to one of the monks that i didn't grab the scroll on my way out. is there anyway i can get back into the palace library and get the scroll or am i screwed? i actually need help so no flaming.

EDIT: 😛 You could try the TES forums or wiki. I didn't make that mistake, so I have no clue.

sure - load an earlier save 😛

and if somehow you didn't save [there is also a back-up save automatically saved before the last auto save]
... there is always the *console* ... head over to the TES forums or read a wiki to use it to duplicate the scroll or use it to just 'complete' the quest.

i have no saves that are before me getting the scroll so that wont work.

what about "autosave" ?
