2 years ago i purchased Microsoft Digital Sound System 80 for $120**Very Very NICE**
well my mom walked into my room and herd wut i was listoning' to and she freaked and started banging on the volume thinggy and pulled the coard apart from the sub<>Hard to es'plain<>but i need new speakers i would like to buy another pair of DDS80 speakers but it says when i search for em they r $256 friken dollars!!!!!!!!!!! thaz just 2 much 4 me i want to atleast be under $120! some-1 tell me if u can find em r if u no a good place for me t look! thanks

I have the Microsoft Digital Sound System (DSS80) and it is FREAKING amazing for it's price! I'm loving the bass it puts out. I got it for around $100CDN!

The mids and lows are really good, although hte highs are lacking..but its not that bad.

I love my DSS80 system. Wish I could get another set or just two satellites so I could have a 4 speaker surround sound system on my computer. I got it for 100...then 10% off from the store i got em...90...then I used the $50 MS Mail in Rebate. $40 for these sweet puppies!

The Boston BA4800s cost $119.99 at BestBuy. They are as good, and in some cases better, than the Klipsch Pro-Media 4.1s.

Too bad they use the USB port (or can they be hooked to a soundcard?)

Anyhoo, the BA's have better SQ while the Klipsch are more made for gaming.
Choose accordingly.

Wal-Mart has the Creative FPS2000 system on clearance for 90.00---if you can still find them. My local store had 1 set left yesterday.

They connect to soundcard and USB..they are connected bothways on my computer.
