I need Lost Odyssey help (not the usual help request)

so, a couple years ago, I bought Lost Odyssey for my 360... because I was also playing World of Warcraft at the time, it got dropped on a shelf and sat untouched for two and a half years. lol.

I finally started playing it last week, got totally addicted, and plowed through the first three disks, but when I get to the fourth disk, bam! I discovered that the disk is broken. :'( it consistently locks up at the same point (a couple minutes into the opening scene) and when I attempt to install the disk onto my xbox, it halts at 38% and tells me that my disk is unreadable despite no apparent scratches or marks on the disk.

any fellow AT'ers with the game sitting around gathering dust and planning on making a trip to the post office anyways willing to loan me a copy of their disk 4? obviously I'd pay for shipping (via paypal or cash sent with the returned disk, whatever's easier)... I'm thinking I'd be able to install the working disk 4 on my xbox and play it off of my corrupted disk.

PM me! 🙂

So long as the Xbox can recognize it as an official Xbox game, it should work when it is installed to the HDD. My Halo Reach has a huge scratch and won't install past 4% without failing and won't load like 3 maps. Thankfully, I just borrowed a copy from my friend and installed it. No more problems.

I've had a few of those discs. Perfect condition, just won't install. Try boiling it for a couple minutes and it works fine. Like a hazy bottom layer on the disc or something.
