I need image enhancing tips!!! Photoshoppers, please check in.

My parents saw how cool it was that I could now print out photos w/ my new photo printer. They gave me two VERY VERY VERY old pix of themselves back when they were young. I mean these pictures are old. I have a scanner that I can use to scan these pictures in but I'm interested in how do I go about touching up these photos before I print them?

maybe a very small image preserving smooth?

and maybe some noise filters?

scan the pics in REALLY high... i mean huge resolution. work on the pics in photoshop, shrink them down to printable size and you're set.

that worked fine w/ one of the black and white pictures. but i have another that is kinda yellow because of it's age. anyway i can reduce this?

also is there anyway to touch up the wrinkles?

getting color out is pretty easy.... image->adjust->desaturate.

your best bet for wrinkles and small touch ups is the clone tool.
