I need ideas on what to talk about

im seriously the worst speech writer/giver ever and im drawing a huge blank on this one. I am supposed to give a speech on murder in Ohio and I dont even really know what to talk about. The only thing I can think of is statistics. Im just looking for ideas of what to talk about .

The extremenity of murder in Ohio is blasphedubious. The rising number of victims from this horrondibolishable crime is ever increasingly and we must work hard to stop it. haha everyone in my speech class is white except one black girl, whos in my group. I may just have to use this lol.

Could you give us a better idea of what kind of murder it was? Any details that make it unique? Serial Killer, Domestic violence, Drugs, Robbery gone bad, Unsolved mystery, Killer got the death penalty, etc. More info we have on it the more brainstorming.

You can discuss about a person in particular who was murdered in Ohio, or spotlight some crimimals of that type, just to give folks an emphasis on why murder affects your community.

its just about murder in general. Nothing specific except that it has to be related to murder in Ohio. I dont think I have ever been this stumped on a paper/speech before.

-Problems in solving murder cases, including cases of innocent people being put in prison.
-Areas with the highest murder rates in Ohio and probable causes, including a case study of an area that had a high murder rate but is now peaceful. Reasons for this shift, possible solutions for other high crime areas.
