That's right, my buddies having a big "funny hat" party this saturday and everyone needs to wear, well, a funny hat!

Besides the obvious 'big 'pimpin hat, anyone have any ideas for me?

If i could craft it myself instead of going out and buying it, that would be a bonus!

Thanks!

I have a courtjester santa hat that's really pimp, and especially amusing around the holidays.

Or, you could put peanut butter on your head and go as Crazy PeanutButter on My Head Guy, brother of Crazy Pickle for a Mustache Guy. :p

lampshade is a good idea i suppose...my buddy wore one for halloween once....and he put a lamp cord coming out of his pants....plus, the front of his shirt said "touch here to turn me on" with an arrow pointing down.....

i REALLY like that "missing person" milk crate hat in that link Czar posted...but it would never get here in time for this weekend!

Anymore do-it-yourself ideas?

LOL.....I remember Adam Sandler on SNL, when he would do those around Haloween time, those were great.

"I'm crazy has a bag for a hand man....I'm crazy....now won't you please give me some candy?"

We had a funny hat party at work. I forgot a funny hat. So I took my standard-issue coffee mug and attached it to my head with a rubber band.
I won a prize for it!

now THAT is interesting...can you explain the logistics of it a bit more? did it require a heavy-duty rubber band??

Go to your local salvation army or heavily discounted store, sometimes you can find some REALLY interesting hats.

It was pretty simple! We have these mugs plastic mugs with lids. The rubber band was big but not especially heavy. Probably 6 inch long when folded flat. I put the band around the mug and snapped the lid on over it to hold it on, and just wore it like a chinstrap.

Be forewarned--the rubber band is uncomfortable and will leave a line in your neck for awhile, but it was simple and worked :)

Do you have any old home theatre-type speakers? Take the cones and stick them onto a cowboy hat. Put the magnet-sides on the bottom.
