I was just at Circiut City & the guy told me they were getting two I-Openers in the next day or two, so I put down $20 to hold one. They are priced at $99. I have been reading that you are now required to subscribe for at least 3 months or they will charge you $500. My question is, how in the heck can they force me to subscribe when I am buying from a retail store--the guy at Circuit City said that they do not handle the ISP subscriptions, so how will the people at NetPliance know that I bought a machine & how will they go about trying to charge me???? Can I still get around the subscription buying it at Circuit City.

Am I ok as long as I never log onto their ISP. Or do they have a way of requiring me to sign up???
