i need help...

...using mIRC. I downloaded the program today and OMG!!! I can't figure out how to use it. anyone want to help? my AIM is zayened.

pretty easy.. no time to chat about it though..

on the connect tab, choose network.. choose a server within that network (2nd tab)

enter all that information, name, nickname, etc...

then click the connect to irc server..

that's it.

once connected. click the 4th icon from the left (List Channels) type in some keyword on the topic of the channel you're looking for.. click apply.. then a new window will open with the chatrooms with the keyword you typed in..

then just double click to get into the chat room


if you're behind a router or using some software router like sygate/tiny, you might have to forward udp port 113 for identd. some servers require this.. have fun
