I am planning to buy AMD Athlon 1.2GHz and for the mobo I've found out that there are two to choose, ASUS A7M and EPOX 8KHA.Please suggest me what to choose.BTW, what is wake-on-LAN support? ASUS mobo has this function and EPOX has not.

between the 2 of those...i would think that the a7m would be a better mobo...but what are you gonna do with your system...are you planning on OCing?
 
Sorry that I didn't mention my plan. I will use this for a little ocing as I am a gamer and video viewer also.

Now that you stated your intentions for the system and as much as I love the A7M, you are better off with the Epox. I don't know much about the 8KHA, but have you considered the Epox 8K7A? It has overclocking options galore and many people here swear by it. In a recent review the 8KHA was only maybe in the top third of it's class. Some food for thought.
 
I agree with Buzz, they are both very good boards, but for gaming, the O/Cing features of the Epox 8K7A are much better.
