I need Help!

Ok.. This keeps getting worse. I attempted to install some Via Ide Buss Mass drivers, to remedy the Ide problems with my Zip Drive, Now the computer locks up while loading windows.. It get to the point where the Icons pop up on the screen, and the taskbar startls loading with the time and some other programs, and then it stops........ Please someone...... HELP!!!!!!!!! I can only take so much.

Hold down Shift and press F8 during boot so that you have a choice of going into Safe Mode. Go into Safe Mode. Reload the VIA 4N1 driver pack, I would suggest the latest one of 4.28a. The system will reboot. This might work. If not, you could be looking at a fdisk and reformat.

Also, as an afterthought, be sure you are using the latest video card drivers too.
