I need help

my conmputer dont shut dow, i have windows 7 install and whem i tried to shut dow it turn off my monitor but the fan keep working. What is the problem?
my computer specs are:
cpu - intel petiun e5200
motherboard - 4coredual sata2 with bios 2.0
memorry - corsar pc5300
grafics - ati hadeon hd3850 agp

Thanks for you inputs, but a simple bios update help the problem. For the people that have the same problem just update to the latest official bios
