I need help writing a paper about soldiers, amputees, and veterans.

Here is the list of available topic ideas, and I need someone to turn them into persuasive thesis statements. I just need the statement, I'll run from there.

Thanks.

Topics:
Veterans hospital care in the U.S.
Immediate care hospitals in Iraq for wounded soldiers.
Care for amputees in V.A. hospitals.
Modern prosthetics for amputees.
Medical care in Germany for evacuated soldiers from Iraq.
Protective equipment for soldiers in today's army.
Veteran benefits for wounded and killed soldiers.
Physical rehabilitation for wounded soldiers
Mental and physical therapies used for wounded soldiers.
Wolrd War I casualties (types) and treatments for wounded soldiers.

The thesis is an assertion that you then have to support in the body of the essay. What do you want to talk about?

For example, in grabbing one of the topics at random:

Medical care in Germany for evacuated soldiers from Iraq.

What do you want to assert about this? Do you believe it's substandard? Do you think it's exceptional? A great service to mankind? Anything in particular that you want to focus on with regard to it?

One you should be able to find some information on is the decreasing quality of care for veterans in the US. This is due to only a limited increase in the budget yet a huge increase in the numbers that need it (largely due to the Iraq/Afghanistan war).

I don't care what I want to talk about. I'll find information about it anyway. I just need a thesis that is persuasive about one side over the other. I was looking at armor or modern prosthetics, but I don't know how to phrase my thesis to make it persuasive.

"Modern prosthetics are a lot more advanced and aid carrying out amputees' lives better than ever before."

"Modern armor, although expensive is worth it because it has been saving soldiers' lives everywhere."

Also, about prosthetics, it does not have to apply to soldiers only. It can apply to amputees from car accidents, cancer, whatever.

Modern armor, though expensive, gives our forces a significant advantage on the battlefield.
That leaves two points to cover. One, you need to cover the costs. You also would need to go in to detail about what the benefits are.

Really, it would help to know what class this is for, what level, and the length requirements.

Class is college writing in high school, 4-5 pages, not really intense paper, we're given a week to do it, it's sort of the blow-off paper for most people, but I want to actually do it. Must have three different sources, doesn't matter where we get them.

About the modern armor, I've already found a few sources regarding the cost and the benefits, so I have some articles about that.

Veterans hospital care in the U.S. is funnelling money away from finding ben laden.

Immediate care hospitals in Iraq for wounded soldiers would be unnecessary if we taught the insurgency how to shoot.

Care for amputees in V.A. hospitals is rdundant when we can take care for them in germany.

Modern prosthetics for amputees is a crutch that keeps the wounded soldiers from dealing with the truth that they have lost an appendage.

Medical care in Germany for evacuated soldiers from Iraq is redudnant since we're just gonna send them to the va hospitals anyway.

Protective equipment for soldiers in today's army is funneling money away from the lotto.

Veteran benefits for wounded and killed soldiers should be cut to help balance the federal budget.

Physical rehabilitation for wounded soldiers should only be offered by the taxpayers when there is certainty the soldier will be able to return to war.

Mental and physical therapies used for wounded soldiers should be paid for by the soldiers families, if they care.

Wolrd War I casualties (types) and treatments for wounded soldiers are a good model of effenciency and money savings.
