i need help with this laptop problem

i just bought a used toshiba tecra 8000 laptop...i reinstalled the os on it to windows 2k. the lcd is 14.1", but only a small fraction of the lcd shows up as the screen...the screen is fine, cuz it was showing millenium completely, and i see the full screen, its just small. is there a driver i can install to fix this?

EDIT: bought it with millenium, so thats why it was fine

It doesn't sound like a major problem more like a driver/resolution issue...try changing the resolution and/or downloading a driver from toshiba.

It's definitely a driver issue. I had the same exact problem with a Sony laptop. Just find a recent driver.

On Dell laptoops <Fn + F7> fixes it. Worth a try.
