Yes I know this should be in the networking forum... but there is so much more traffic here...

Anyway, I've got a dlink wap (di-713p) which is properly configured, I have a desktop and a laptop hooked up to the router part of it and I'm able to post this message from them. Then I have a compaq ipaq 3600 series with pocket pc 2002 and the compaq wireless networking card (wl100). I'm pretty sure that I have all the new drivers for that card installed, I downloaded the spi8661 drivers from compaq's website.... Now what? How can i get it to browse the web or check me email? And further down the road I would like to do remote control with my xp box. I'm kind of stuck at this point and don't really know where to go from here. Thanks in advance!!!

A bit of an update, and a bump! I must have had the wrong drivers installed, so it looks like i have the right ones in now. Now in the configurating window for the wireless card, under the link tab, it just sits there in it's 'associating' state. The channels are set right, 6 on the handheld and 6 on the wap. and then Rx: keeps moving around. in link quality and signal strength they are both not connected. Did I miss a step somewhere? Maybe there is a setting on my wap? the little wlan light, which I assume is for wireless lan, isn't lit up and the instructions say nothing about it. Please help!!!!
